IMPOPO BROTHERS NOT MEMBERS OF PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS SA
The two Limpopo brothers, Dawie and Janneman Groenewald, who were arrested by Interpol for violating the US Lacey Act, amongst others, are not members of the Professional Hunters’ Association of South Africa (PHASA).
“PHASA supports legal, ethical and sustainable hunting as part of responsible conservation, and condemns unethical and unsustainable illegal wildlife use. People guilty of the latter, are not hunters, but poachers,” says Tharia Unwin, chief executive officer of PHASA.
