America's Outdoor Show

America's Outdoor Fishing & Hunting Show

“America's Outdoor Show is now accepting exhibitor applications for its 2011 Show:  Wednesday - Sunday, January 26 - 30, 2011 at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

Before booking any 2011 sport shows, ask the promoter: "Do you offer a 100% Exhibitor Satisfaction Guarantee - Or Your Money Back program?"

Isn't it time that sport show promoters - who are all too eager to accept your money- stand behind their product, just as you do?
If you're looking for a High End sport show in a marketplace with over 10,000,000 people; with an advisory board whose members have over 100 + Years of combined fishing and hunting experience-- then join the 2011 America's Outdoor Show exhibitor team today.”

For the last 31 years “America’s Outdoor Show” is the longest running sport show in Chicago. Over the last 10 years, the show had been owned by Reed for 7 years and by an individual for 3 years - neither group promoted the event and the event deteriorated in diversity and quality of exhibitors and attendees.

15 years ago, the show was actually the largest in the US.  Jim Sugarman, owner, purchased the show October 2009, and changed the name to “America's Outdoor Fishing & Hunting Show”.  Previously, under the Reed ownership, they “forced” exhibitors to exhibit in Chicago in order to get a booth in Harrisburg, which was to the eventual disadvantage of the Chicago show.  It was during this time that hunting outfitters and exhibitors began to lose interest in Chicago.

This past January show, Jan 27 - 31st, there were 180 exhibitors occupying 280 booths; 15 000 attendees with only one Outfitter from SA.  Chicago is the 3rd largest US city with over 10,000,000 people in the Chicagoland area.

Show dates: Chicago 26-30 Jan 2011

Jim Sugarman believes that there has to be a real value for exhibitors and he is prepared to offer a great package to them. Their goal is to recreate Chicago as the best and most profitable sports show for exhibitors in the country, with a fine hunting pavillion and strong presence from SA.  Critical to this mission is attracting quality, well-known hunting personalities in the US to speak at the show. Donated auctions are not insisted on as the organisers want the exhibitors to have a profitable experience and to develop a long-term relationship
