PHASA has secured a block of deluxe rooms at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino in Reno for the Safari Club International Conventions in January 2011 for its members.  Here are the details:

The Silver Legacy Hotel is located in downtown Reno, in the hub of activity.  It occupies two city blocks from Virginia to West Streets and Fourth Street north to Fifth Street.  It has 1720 rooms, 85,000 square feet of casino space, six restaurants and a variety of bars and lounges.  It also boasts a health spa and pool, with state of art exercising equipment, whirlpool bath, steam bath and full massage facilities

Rates
Rates for the deluxe rooms that have been negotiated for 2011 - $74 per night (Sunday – Monday - Tuesday), $99 per night (Wednesday – Thursday) and $119 per night (Friday and Saturday) plus room tax currently at 13,5% subject to change.

All rates are also subject to a $3 per room, per night, resort fee, subject to change.  The resort fee provides guests shuttle round trip to the airport, valet and covered self-parking, and unlimited local phone calls.  Check in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM.

Silver Legacy will provide limited shuttle transportation on a first come first serve basis, in the morning and afternoon Tuesday, January 25, 2011 for the outfitters from the Silver Legacy to the Convention Center.

Complimentary airport shuttle service
Shuttle service is available from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport to the Silver Legacy Resort and back to all Silver Legacy guests on a complimentary basis.  Shuttle service begins at 5:00AM and continues every ½ hour until 12 midnight.  Shuttle is available on a first come first serve basis and cannot be reserved for group transportation. 

Block Dates
Block dates are 23 to 30 January 2011 (exclusive).

Deposit/Guarantee/Cancellation
The hotel will ask for a credit card number to guarantee your booking.  No deposit will be charged.  Bookings can be cancelled up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.  Persons who do not cancel their booking twenty-four (24) hours prior to arrival will automatically be charged a Cancellation Fee of the first night’s occupancy at the contracted rate, plus tax.

Fax or email the attached form to the Silver Legacy directly at the numbers below.  Rooms within this special block are limited, so get your bookings in as quickly as possible.  Cut-off date for bookings is 23 December 2010.  To make sure you get the PHASA rate, you must book prior to the cut-off date or rate is subject to availability.  Also, bookings may be accepted under the PHASA block after it is full at the normal rack rates, please look at your confirmed rate to ensure there is no misunderstanding.
